I'm happy to contribute a bit. I acquired Kendrick's archive from an antique seller in Arkansas many years ago. I treasure it. Here's a couple of pic of what I have. He joined HOUSTON in October 1940 right out of sea school.Howdy - Came across your site and noticed in the Crew Picture file you did not have one of PFC Arlando W. KENDRICK USMC of the Marine Detachment who reportedly died aboard the ship. Hope you will be able to upload and post it to the file. Please let me know. If your files contain any info about Kendrick or the circumstances of his death, please let me know where to find it. Thanks....
